Dr Felix Hanisch has been elected as Chairman. He has been head of the Bayer CropScience AG production site in Muttenz since October 2023. Before moving to Switzerland, he was responsible for plant safety at Bayer worldwide and worked at the Leverkusen site in Germany. He completed his education at the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany and Lehigh University in the USA in the fields of Chemical Engineering and Process Control. "It is important to Bayer to be part of the community in which we are allowed to produce. We want to achieve our "Hunger for none" vision with our products, and with my commitment to WiFöM I want to contribute to good neighbourliness and the economic development of the Muttenz community. Our employees live and work here."
In his private life, his family consists of his wife and two grown-up daughters. Felix Hanisch enjoys exploring his new home by bike and knows how strenuous the climb up the Gempenturm can be.
He is supported in his position at Wirtschaftsförderung Muttenz by Vice President Tamara Hersperger. She is HR Manager and part of the management team at alltech Installationen AG, based in Muttenz. Tamara Hersperger has thus followed in the footsteps of her father, the current owner of alltech Installationen AG. Since summer 2013, she has been working hard to drive the company forward. Her motivation for WiFöM is to make an active contribution to Muttenz as a business location.
Tamara Hersperger also has a family with whom she lives in the Basel region.

"We promote the economy in Muttenz in the interests of its citizens. To this end, we offer both local companies and those interested in relocating a platform for networking, dialogue and further development. We make new things possible by bringing together important players from business and education, the public and the population and creating an environment in Muttenz in which companies and their employees feel comfortable. We utilise existing potential, for example by expanding infrastructure and strengthening the local economic ecosystem."
