Dear members of the WiFöM network
It is now November and a lot has happened in WiFöM's first year of operations. We would like to inform you about some of the highlights of the last few months.
Save the Date
First of all, we would like to give you a save the date: Our New Year's event will take place on Thursday, 16 January 2025. You are welcome to register for the event here.
General information
The association is now complete with Dr Felix Hanisch as President and Tamara Hersperger as Vice President. The two are supported by four other board members and a six-member advisory board from business, politics and education. N.E.T. GmbH has been engaged for the work of the office. Our website has also been given a new look as a result: wifoem.ch
Mission
At a workshop in June, the Executive Board and Advisory Board made some relevant forward-looking decisions - such as the final mission that will accompany us in the coming years:
Goals
The main objectives can be divided into:
- eine aktive Bestandespflege,
- promoting the innovative capacity of the location,
- the networking of players,
- the monitoring of settlements,
- and maintaining external economic relations.

We have sent a letter to the companies that have moved to/from us, introducing ourselves and inviting them to share their reasons for moving with us. We hope to draw valuable conclusions from the responses for our future

Networking of stakeholders
We have also already initiated a campaign for the goal of "networking stakeholders": The Education Cluster Roundtable took place at the beginning of November. This event served as an opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other and is the starting signal for joint projects between the education and business clusters in Muttenz.
