Work on the projects has continued over the past few months; here is an update.

As already indicated in the last newsletter, we are continuing the analysis of the Bizenen district through further projects. Entrepreneurs and property owners in the area were invited to a round table in June to discuss their needs and the future development of the site in concrete terms with us. We look forward to the results.

As nature turns green again, a new chapter begins for our image film: filming can start. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all sponsors and supporters whose contribution made this milestone possible.

In September, we will host a company visit at Woertz AG. The focus will be on exchange between local businesses as well as exciting insights into the world of a successful Muttenz-based family-owned company spanning generations. Look forward to inspiring keynotes by the host and a guided tour through the production facilities.

In August, the Mini Career Fair will be held again following its successful launch last year. In the afternoon, students from the secondary school in Muttenz will have the opportunity to try out various professions firsthand, organised by the KMU Muttenz association. Local companies are welcome to register for a stand. In the evening, Wirtschaftsförderung Muttenz will host a panel discussion on “Career Paths – Perspectives and Diversity” for parents and guardians. Various speakers will share their individual experiences along their educational and professional journeys. We look forward to this eventful day and the opportunity for networking between the different stakeholders.

On 20 April, the first dialogue group meeting on the remediation of the Feldreben landfill took place. Wirtschaftsförderung Muttenz is participating as a representative of the Muttenz business community. The presentation of the meeting and the minutes are publicly available.
