Dear members of the WiFöM network
Muttenz continues to develop, and we would like to keep you involved in this journey. Over the past weeks, we have been working on exciting projects that strengthen the business location and set the course for the future.
Completion of the Bizenen District Analysis
A potential analysis of the Bizenen area southeast of the railway station is currently being conducted. The aim is to assess the site conditions and identify new development opportunities.
To capture the current situation, surveys were conducted among property owners and companies, public data was analysed, and various expert discussions were held. The insights derived from this process and possible strategic directions are being discussed with the municipal council. Based on this discussion, concrete measures will be derived and developed to further strengthen the area and specifically leverage its potential.

Welcome in Muttenz
With the “Welcome in Muttenz” project, we are creating an information platform for newly established and interested companies.
In the future, all relevant information about the Muttenz business location will be easily accessible via the WiFöM website – from administrative contacts to local networks.

The third active project is the image film for the Muttenz business location. It portrays the economic diversity, innovative strength and quality of life of our municipality. The aim of the film is to show decision-makers of companies interested in relocating what makes Muttenz particularly attractive as a business location – and to convince them to choose Muttenz as their new business location.
